The process of casting metal has held my fascination since I first discovered it. The steps of making a mold, melting and pouring the metal, then finishing the final casting are all sacred to me. Whether it is casting iron, aluminum, or bronze, the ritual of pouring metal calls for experimentation and exploration, and I strive to do both when I create my cast works.
